Continuing his meetings in Munich, Germany, President Nechirvan Barzani met with Mr. Antonio Tajani, the Foreign Minister of Italy.
During their meeting, both sides reiterated mutual willingness to develop bilateral relations of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with Italy, and to expand collaboration between Italy and the Kurdistan Region in archeology and sponsorships for students from the Kurdistan Region in Italy.
Foreign Minister Tajani affirmed that Italy attaches great importance to its bilateral relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and values peace, political stability and economic prosperity in the country. Mr. Tajani expressed hope that Iraq and the Kurdistan Region will support joint Italian projects and investments in the country.
