President Nechirvan Barzani received the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Iraq, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, in Duhok today.
During the meeting, they commended the successful electoral process and discussed the current and future political landscapes. Both sides agreed on the importance of collaborative efforts and coordination among political factions before the next stage.
They emphasized adherence to the constitution as a fundamental principle for safeguarding state institutions, addressing issues, and ensuring the rights of citizens.
They also highlighted the necessity for all to uphold national principles to maintain stability, democracy, and the highest national interests, while responding to the aspirations of the people of Iraq across all communities.
