President Nechirvan Barzani meets with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan

During his official visit to Turkey, President Nechirvan Barzani met with Hakan Fidan, the Foreign Minister of Türkiye, shortly after his arrival in Ankara on Wednesday afternoon.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Ibrahim Kalin, the Director of the National Intelligence Organization of Türkiye, discussions focused on strengthening Türkiye’s relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the current tensions in the Middle East and their potential implications.
