President Nechirvan Barzani meets with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

President Nechirvan Barzani welcomed Ms. Victoria Taylor, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Iraq and Iran, on Wednesday afternoon in Sulaimani.

During their discussion, they addressed the relationship between the US and Iraq, as well as the relations between Erbil and Baghdad. They emphasized the importance of continuing negotiations to resolve outstanding issues.

They also assessed the regional situation and its impact on both Iraq and Kurdistan, with both parties highlighting the critical need for security and stability in the region.
