The French Consul General outlined France’s and President Macron’s initiatives to promote peace and resolve conflicts through diplomatic means. He also highlighted France’s role within the European troika in working to de-escalate tensions and encourage the parties to engage in dialogue and pursue diplomatic solutions.
The two parties also discussed France’s relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the dynamics between Erbil and Baghdad, and other issues of mutual interest.
