They also addressed the necessary steps for establishing the new Kurdistan Regional Government.
The French Ambassador extended his congratulations to the Kurdistan Region for the successful elections, highlighting the impressive voter turnout as a testament to the citizens' engagement in the region's future. During their discussions, both parties explored the processes involved in establishing the new government of the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the necessity of creating a government that aligns with the aspirations of the people and their objectives for development and stability.
The French Ambassador emphasized his nation's ongoing dedication to assisting and supporting both Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. In response, the President of the Kurdistan Region expressed gratitude to France for its sustained backing of issues concerning Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
