President Nechirvan Barzani received Mr. Abdulla Almazrouei, the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Iraq. The President congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and hoped for his success in his endeavors. He assured the Ambassador of his full support.
Ambassador Almazrouei conveyed warm greetings from the President of the UAE, His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to President Nechirvan Barzani. He highlighted the strong and growing ties between the UAE, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region, with a particular emphasis on the relationship with the Kurdistan Region.
During the meeting, President Nechirvan Barzani extended his warm greetings to the President of the UAE. He also expressed appreciation for the continued support provided by the UAE to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. Additionally, both sides engaged in discussions regarding the enhancement of cooperation across multiple sectors.
Recent developments in the region, particularly regarding the situation in Syria and other matters of mutual concern, were also addressed during the meeting.
