President Nechirvan Barzani received a delegation from the US–Kurdistan Business Council (USKBC).
During the meeting, the delegation outlined the purpose of its visit to the Kurdistan Region, and discussions were held on US–Kurdistan trade relations. The talks also highlighted the opportunities available to further strengthen relations between both sides.
President Nechirvan Barzani reaffirmed that the Kurdistan Region seeks to further develop its trade and economic ties with the United States. He emphasized the Region’s readiness to provide all necessary facilitation to US investors and companies so they can expand their economic and commercial activities in the Kurdistan Region.
The outcomes of Iraq’s recent parliamentary elections were also a key topic of discussion.
