President Nechirvan Barzani to visit Ankara

In a statement to the Kurdistan Region Presidency website, Dilshad Shahab, the spokesperson for the Kurdistan Region Presidency announced that President Nechirvan Barzani is scheduled to meet with Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, as part of an official visit.

The two sides will engage in discussions regarding the advancement of Türkiye’s relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as the recent developments in the wider region, while also sharing perspectives on other issues of mutual interest, Dilshad Shahab added.
