Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani is to visit Baghdad on Saturday to hold meetings with Iraq’s Prime Minister, President, Speaker of Parliament, Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, President of the Arab League, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq and high political officials of the country.
With Iraq’s political leadership and parties, the President is set to discuss the latest developments in Iraq, Erbil-Baghdad relations, the situation in the greater region, cooperation and collective coordination among all groups in the country in order to ensure stability, security and peace in Iraq and the wider region.
