The visit of the Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) to the President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani was for congratulating the President on his new post and reaffirming their support for him. They highly appreciated the President’s role in past various stages of surpassing crises and challenges, through which the Kurdistan Region had passed.
In the meeting which was held in Erbil, the President expressed his appreciation for the support offered by the KDP in confronting the challenges and surpassing the crises. Also, he reaffirmed that cohesion and collaboration among Kurdistan political sides on the local and national level will strengthen the Kurdistan Region’s position, as he stressed on KDP’s role in that process.
