We welcome the Iraqi House of Representatives' approval of the Amendment to the Federal Budget Law and congratulate the House of Representatives and all those who participated in its preparation and approval.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani for his dedication and patriotism from the outset. His support has been instrumental in addressing the budgetary, salary, and financial entitlement issues concerning the Kurdistan Region. We also commend the negotiating delegations and the relevant parties from both the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government of Iraq.
This represents a significant advancement that will positively impact all of Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region. We anticipate that this will mark the beginning of addressing additional challenges, with the ultimate resolution of the Kurdistan Region's salary and financial entitlement issues to follow promptly. We emphasize our commitment to resolving all matters through dialogue and mutual understanding.
