Statement from President Nechirvan Barzani on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq, and around the world as we welcome the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan is a month of compassion, tolerance and goodwill. It presents us with an opportunity to strengthen the values ​​of brotherhood and coexistence and renew the spirit of cooperation in our communities. I hope this holy month brings greater peace and stability to the people of Kurdistan, Iraq, and the wider region.

May the Almighty God graciously accept the fasting and prayers of everyone, and may He bestow His forgiveness, mercy, and peace upon us all.
