President Nechirvan Barzani and the Ambassador of Switzerland discuss bilateral relations

President Nechirvan Barzani received Mr. Daniel Hunn, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Iraq.

In the meeting, President Nechirvan Barzani expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the reopening of the Swiss Embassy in Baghdad, describing it as an important step toward strengthening relations between the two sides.

Both sides emphasized their mutual desire to advance bilateral relations and expand areas of joint cooperation, especially in the field of economics. They also discussed opportunities for Swiss companies to operate and invest in the Kurdistan Region.

The latest developments in the region and several other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
