President Nechirvan Barzani meets with Secretary General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq

Baghdad, Iraq, January 13, 2025

President Nechirvan Barzani met with Secretary General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, Mr. Qais al-Khazali, in Baghdad on Monday evening.

The two parties emphasized the significance of enhancing collaboration among all Iraqi factions to ensure security and stability within the country. They also addressed the necessity for collective efforts to safeguard Iraq from the repercussions of the regional tensions.

Both sides agreed on the need to keep Iraq away from regional conflicts, and stressed the importance of national unity to face internal and external challenges.
