President Nechirvan Barzani Meets with the Governor and Administration of SulaimaniSulaimani, Kurdistan Region, September 24, 2024
During his visit to Sulaimani Governorate, President Nechirvan Barzani held a meeting with Haval Abubakir, the Governor of Sulaimani, along with several officials from the local administration at the governorate’s office.
The meeting engaged in a discussion regarding the overall circumstances in Sulaimani Governorate, focusing on administrative matters and services. They also addressed preparations for the Kurdistan parliamentary elections and the start of the election campaign, as well as the needs for several projects in the governorate’s administration.
President Nechirvan Barzani emphasized the importance of conducting respectful and orderly election campaigns in Sulaimani and across the Kurdistan Region. He expressed support for the local administration, reiterating his commitment to addressing their requests.
The meeting also covered supporting and developing different sectors in Sulaimani Governorate and efforts to resolve the issues of Sulaimani International Airport.
