President Nechirvan Barzani met today in Baghdad with Mr. Faeq Zedan, the head of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq. The meeting discussed the latest developments in the country and the agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government to resume oil exports.
Both sides agreed on the importance of the constructive role of the judicial Council in bringing the views closer together to resolve the existing differences, and stressed the need for the support of all sides to implement the agenda of the federal government.
Discussions also focused on the ongoing talks between Erbil and Baghdad to resolve the pending issues.
