Erbil, Kurdistan Region, December 15, 2022
On the occasion of the Ezi Feast Day (Eda Rojiet Ezi), I congratulate the Mir of the Yezidis, the Baba Sheikh, the Spiritual Council, and all our Yezidi brothers and sisters in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and across the world. I hope this occasion is celebrated in peace and harmony.
Unfortunately, another Yezidi occasion is celebrated while a large number of our Yezidi brothers and sisters are still living in refugee camps in sever conditions. Our hearts and thoughts are with them. We are well aware of their harsh conditions. I extend my special congratulations to them on this day.
Also, thousands of our Yezidi brothers and sisters still hope to uncover the fate of their missing loved ones. We reassure our Yezidi brothers and sisters that we will continue our ongoing efforts to rescue and return all their abducted family members and uncover their fate.
