President Nechirvan Barzani visited the Consulate General of Kuwait in Erbil on Tuesday afternoon to convey his condolences on the passing of the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
During his visit, the President expressed his heartfelt condolences to the leadership and people of Kuwait and wrote a tribute to the late Emir in a condolence book at Kuwait’s Consulate General.
In response, Mr. Osman Al-Dawood, the Kuwaiti Consul General, expressed his appreciation for the support and solidarity of the President of the Kurdistan Region with the nation of Kuwait during this period of mourning and grief.
