President of the Kurdistan Region Congratulates Rewas Fayaq

The President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani, in a statement, congratulated Rewas Fayaq on her election as the Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament and wished her success.

I warmly congratulate you on your election as the Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament, and I wish you and the Kurdistan Parliament all the success.

The Kurdistan Parliament played an effective role in reinforcing the rights of the people of Kurdistan, organizing the administrative and civil lives in the Kurdistan Region by passing required laws and resolutions. Backed by your experience and expertise in parliamentary works and with the support of other blocs, I hope, you will better serve the Kurdistan Region in current stages and in the future.

We in the Kurdistan Region Presidency will support the Kurdistan Parliament and the Kurdistan Regional Government in achieving their goals for the purpose of reinforcing the democratic experience and improving governance system in the Kurdistan Region.
